Rude Brews FAQ — All Your “What Ifs” Answered

What if I accidentally entered the wrong shipping address?
Email us ASAP at rudebrewsco@gmail.com. We’re quick to brew and ship orders, but if you catch the mistake before it leaves our hands, we can fix it.
If your order’s already shipped, you’ll need to place a new one with the correct address. Once the original order boomerangs back to us, we’ll refund the product cost only. (Sorry — shipping costs are non-refundable because the Post Office never gives us our tea money back.)
What if Rude Brews sent me the wrong tea?
We hate to admit it, but sometimes all those sassy shapes can look alike. If we flubbed your order, email us at rudebrewsco@gmail.com with your order details and we’ll make it right faster than you can say “Oops, wrong bag.”
What if my order gets returned to Rude Brews?
Sometimes mail gets sent back. Maybe the recipient refused it, or the address wasn’t quite right. No worries! We’ll refund you for the tea itself once it lands back with us. Shipping costs, though? Not refundable. (We love you, but USPS doesn’t love us back.)
Can I use a nickname for the recipient instead of their real name?
Nope — sorry! The Post Office doesn’t have a sense of humor. You must include the recipient’s real first name, or we can’t ship it. If we spot a nickname, we’ll email you to confirm, which will delay your order.
Can I send a package without knowing the last name?
Also nope. USPS needs both a first and last name to deliver your tea. If you don’t have it, we’ll reach out. If we don’t hear back, we’ll refund your order so you can reorder once you’ve tracked it down.
What if I change my mind and want to cancel?
Email us right away at rudebrewsco@gmail.com. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll refund the full purchase including shipping.
If it’s already been mailed, we can only refund the product cost once it’s returned to us. Shipping costs are, sadly, gone with the wind (and the mail truck).
How fast do you ship orders?
We ship out orders 3x a week through USPS. We have not seen much delay with USPS and orders are highly likely to be delivered within 2-4 days of shipment, but USPS has announced they cannot guarantee delivery dates.
How long does shipping take?
Standard USPS First Class Mail takes about 3–5 business days. Weather, distance, and postal holidays can affect timing.
Need your tea by a specific date? Order at least a week ahead — or better yet, choose expedited shipping at checkout (usually 2 business days).
What if I paid for expedited shipping but it’s still late?
We get it waiting sucks. Once the package is in USPS’s hands, we lose control (and our sanity). We’ll help track it down, but delays caused by USPS are out of our hands.
We promise we’ll do everything we can to help, though we’re control freaks too.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Take a photo and send it to us at rudebrewsco@gmail.com. We’ll replace your order pronto no fuss, no stress.
